The 3rd International Pan American Light Sources for Agriculture (PALSA 2023) will be held in conjunction with an adjacent workshop, X-ray Methods and Resources for Agricultural Science, from July 11-14, 2023.

Abstracts for posters are still welcome! submit here.

Register here for both PALSA and the workshop.

Hosted by the Cornell High Energy Synchrotron Source (CHESS) at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, the PALSA event will be held in a hybrid format.

PALSA is an international conference in partnership with the Canadian Light Source (CLS) at the University of Saskatchewan, the Cornell High Energy Synchrotron Source (CHESS) at Cornell University in the United States, and the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS) at the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials in Campinas, Brazil. Invited talks will showcase state-of-the-art synchrotron research aimed at measuring time-dependent physical, chemical and biological processes in soils, plants, the rhizosphere, animals and micro-organisms of relevance to agricultural systems. The conference will also welcome contributed oral and poster presentations, and will include ample time for Q&A and open discussions.
